Healthy Families.
Strong Schools.
Thriving Community.

I’m Christina Delzingaro and I’m a candidate for an At-Large seat on Lynchburg City Council.

I’m running because I believe Lynchburg deserves steady, compassionate, and thoughtful leadership—leadership that listens, collaborates, and gets the work done.

I first came to Lynchburg in 1980 to attend Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and worked my way through school at local restaurants. I fell in love with this community, and I was proud to return 12 years ago. Since then, my work has focused on bringing people together to solve complex challenges—especially in healthcare—by listening to people’s stories, concerns, and ideas. That’s where real change happens.

If elected, I will bring that same spirit of collaboration, transparency, and professionalism to City Council—along with practical leadership that delivers results. I’m committed to responsible financial management, on-time budgets that support strong schools and safer neighborhoods, smart investment in our infrastructure, and supporting our city staff so local government works the way it should.

I pledge to listen, to work respectfully with my colleagues, and to do the hard work—side by side with this community.

I look forward to the months ahead and to helping build a city that works for every Lynchburg resident.
